Fandom Project Showcase: Snowleopardferret’s Legacy
Until June 2022 the Starbeans brand was hosted under the pen name Snowleopardferret – the title of my old tumblr blog, and my fandom nom de plume. I have been an active member of anime and gaming convention circuits beginning early 2008. Since 2017 I have taken a more active role in fandom, particularly in the emerging modern fanzine scene. I have a niche specialty working with fandom inspired or fantasy tarot decks. I work as a background administrator, shipping liaison, or general assistant for collaborative fan projects, helping move fanart offline and into a more sentimental and archival format.
Non-profit or collaborative fandom products like zines, tarot decks, and fanfiction from Anthony Collins remain under the screen name Snowleopardferret.
Cat’s Pin Club, Co-Founder
Cat’s Pin Club is an ongoing project very dear to me. Artists of all skill levels gather to make enamel pin designs on a shared theme, then band together to fund creating a line of unique enamel pins. Projects are funded on Kickstarter, and participating artists receive a significant quantity of product free of charge!
Wishes of Teyvat, Design Lead
Our long-term Genshin Impact fanmade trading card set! An ongoing passion project, and one of our first with a guarenteed cash paycheck for contributing artists – we tackle the world of Teyvat one region at a time, hopefully creating a slightly more satisfying experience than the official ones.
